Toasted, creamy, lemony. Made from 23-year-old estate vines and fermented in French oak before being aged on lees for an additional 5 months this style of Pinot Gris is quite different from your typical un-oaked style. It is nutty and smoky with grilled elemons and yellow fruits and faint toasted spices. It has a very Chardonnay-like demeanor; creamy and lemony but with fruit dulled by oak.
